Audrey walked down the halls of the dorms, her heels clanging on the floors with an echo followed by it. She just finished one of her classes and decided to take a rest, at a hang out she usually called in the common room. She entered and walked toward the couch, across to a…
Audrey listened quietly at his voice smooth and nice, she liked it. His melody was bewitching and when he stopped playing, she was a bit disappointed, nevertheless her expression was kept straight. Audrey shifted slightly, noticing how he looked at her and she cleared her throat, avoiding to feel uncomfortable. She sat up straight and frowned slightly, “Did I..disturb you?” One of her eyebrows extended upward.
Clay shook his head. He didn’t mind being watched as he played. He was just curious and nervous at the same time. “No. Not at all.” his smile was soft and friendly. “I’m Clay.” inwardly face palming himself. He had always loathed his name. It sounded way too silly.
Audrey smiled and stroked the pillow one last time before setting it back on the couch. She tapped her fingers on the arm chair and nodded, “Clay? I heard you were somewhat familiar here. I wouldn’t know. Im Audrey.” His name wasn’t accurately usual for guys, but it was a bit captivating.
“You know Charlie? She’s my sister.” he said. Sure he was pretty known along here. But not as himself, but as Charlotte Strait’s over-protective brother. It irked him sometimes, but he didn’t complain. He pondered on this thought, absentmindedly strumming the guitar without thought.
She slowly nodded, understanding the whole idea just by examining his expression. Audrey couldn’t help but to listen again to the majestic notes of the way he played. It felt like nothing she’d done before, maybe he could teach her, she wondered. Shrugging at the thought, she replied with a hoarse voice, “Charlie..” Audrey cleared her throat, “I know her.” Technically, she didn’t. She hadn’t even talked to anyone at the school, besides her best friend Brook, Josie and apparently by accident, Chloe. It really didnt came to her mind to bother meeting other people here. They were useless, nothing in common with each other, and all she could do was escape to her own little world.

someone shot this?
Brook was sitting against a large tree beside the lake, exhaling smoke from time to time. This is the one place she could think, no one’s here around this time. Brook placed the cigarette on her lips again as she looked up at the night sky, it’s incredibly peaceful tonight. No bloody birds in…
Audrey folded her hands together, tapping on the flat surface of the back of her hand and stared at a blank space at the ceiling. It was utterly quiet, and she filled her mind with questions no one could possibly answer this time. She sighed, grumbling in her thoughts about the silence through the dorms. In the stillness, she could hear breathings. Her own exhalations. ‘It seems so deadly tonight’ Her eyes gazed around at the dark, her lips moving like a fish while she counted the objects she could scarcely catch a glimpsed of. She sighed in aggravation, and rolled off her bed, swiping off her long grey cardigan. Audrey opened the door and picked up her footsteps along the way, once she’d reach the main exit, she escaped out of the building and ran to her favorite spot. Audrey noticed a thin smoke rising into the air and a smirk spread along her face. “Hey.” She nodded and sat down beside her best friend. “Nothing really. The silence bothers me.” She admitted, noticing the scribbles on the paper. “Had a lot of time to think?”
Audrey was pacing back and forth in her dorm, her eyes looking through files of music to listen to. Once she’d found a song that’d absolutely entertain her from the state of boredom, she waited for it then it finally blasted music to her ears. “Joy joy joy.” She closed her…
Audrey thought she was all alone, but knowing the school’s population, she would’ve quieted her excitement down before bursting into a worlds giggling bumblebee. She couldn’t hear the footsteps until in the corner of her eyes, a dark figure of a girl stared at her with wonder. She clicked the power button of her ipod, and paused the song. Audrey slowly took out her earphones and politely blinked her eyes at the girl, “Oh hey! Im Audrey.” She said, quickening a smile on her lips, “Oh just Na Na Na by My Chemical Romance.” Her attitude didn’t seem to be like this all the time, but meeting certain people, she’d figured to find out wether they would likely be a friend of her or the worst enemy.
